From his early days in influential group dcTalk (with Michael Tait and Kevin Max) to his very first solo album, Momentum, TobyMac has worked hard to inspire his audience with words of conviction, hope, empowerment and the redemption found in his faith in God.

“I want my music to depict what I’m going through. I want to write about the things that upset me, move me, hurt me and haunt me. The things that are real,” he says.

Gotee Records is the record label that was started by TobyMac, Joey Elwood, and Todd Collins in 1994. The present day in the Gotee story is much like the label’s early days. Through all the changes in a tumultuous music industry, the boutique label’s independent spirit is maintained through a steady focus on artist development and diversity.
