Blanca Callahan made up half of the 5-time Dove Award winning hip-hop/pop duo Group 1 Crew. At age 6, Blanca’s path to future success was marred by the breakup of her family at the hands of her drug-addicted, alcoholic father. The next eleven years of her life were marked by struggle, fear and abuse until she reconnected with her father after his encounter with Christ. That reunion was the catalyst for her own personal relationship with Christ and subsequent life-change.

Blanca is passionate about seeing girls and young women rise up out of their insecurities and overcome the difficulties that face them on their way to fulfilling their dreams. She aims to share her story with the world through her music and through various speaking engagements.

In 2013 Blanca stepped down from the group after becoming a mother for the first time. In 2015 she released the album ”Blanca”.
